Guy in our homebrew club distills regularly and his stuff falls short of KCFD shine. [Reply]
I know Flaviar can be a little silly with their pricing, but I grabbed one of their Whiskies of the World advent calendars this year. We'll see how it goes.

How does it compare price-wise to Master of Malt? I've had their calendars before and I feel like it's solid value. [Reply]

Man, I've liked them all which speaks to how little I know and how happy I am to drink literally anything.
The Irish whiskey is a $20 bottle that I could see having on hand for guests and sipping on my own. Of the 3 I've sampled, I'd most likely grab the Italian whiskey to drink again. It had a unique depth of flavor that had me wishing I had more than just a sample to revisit.
I feel like I'm on The Bachelor for whiskies except with a much more intact anus. [Reply]
