Of course there's risk. The question is how much. It's not up to me to prove, Im not the one making the assumption that he's gonna get hurt if he plays.
“A QB who has been sacked 19 times during the past six games and is now trying to play with a high ankle sprain/limited mobility… no risk/nothing to see here.”

If you say so.
I literally said there was risk.
I guess if you don't have any other evidence you can just resort to putting words in my mouth.

Sitting Mahomes because you're scared of injury is like unplugging the Internet because you don't want to get hacked. [Reply]

Hope that works out for you.
So there is a risk? Not just “irrational fear mongering”?
And when Mahomes played through this similar injury two years ago… he wasn’t playing behind a dumpster fire offensive line that had given up nearly 20 sacks during the past six games as has happened this year. [Reply]

There can be a risk and irrational fear mongering.
There's a huge difference between possible and probable.
If the line is a dumpster fire going to get him hurt, then playing an extra game is a death sentence for the 3peat.

Better chance he's hurt in a month if you're throwing him out there while hobbled against Houston and Pittsburgh pass rushes when one bad tackle could snap his ankle in half. [Reply]

Again, not mutually exclusive.
Winning with Wentz is anything but a foregone conclusion. There were literally people saying this thread that we could beat the Texans "comfortably" with Wentz.
They haven't beaten ANYBODY comfortably this year, with Mahomes. [Reply]
