Which isn’t guaranteed as Buffalo could lose to a Baltimore or Houston before ever getting to AFC Championship game.
The Lions had two guys spying Allen most of the night. We didn't even use ONE. They won't do that in the playoffs. [Reply]
I am starting come around to the thought that it might be best if he did sit this one. I don’t expect him to, but maybe he should.
This is why you sign a backup as good as Wentz. So you don’t have to force Mahomes out there hurt especially when it looks like he could use a soft reset all the way around. [Reply]

His mechanics are already garbage this year. This just adds another layer of shit to the poo pie.
One could argue his mechanics are so bad that he doesn't even need his throwing ankle as much as other QBs. He mainly throws with his upper body too much as it is.
I personally don't believe that and that the ankle will affect accuracy no matter what. [Reply]
New update for Rap makes it sound like they’ll lean Wentz this week.
The #Chiefs will know more as the practice week rolls on, and there is a chance that Patrick Mahomes practices this week. He's week-to-week, so his status this week is in doubt.

Yeah I think this will be handled differently than his ankle injury two years ago.
That was during the playoffs and they were trying to get him back to play in the AFC Championship Game and Super Bowl.
Week 16 vs Houston and with a capable back-up QB… not the same urgency to rush him back. [Reply]
Sounds like good news but hopefully reason prevails and Wentz is out there on Saturday. I know Mahomes can play hobbled but I’d rather not see that in a fairly meaningless December football game. [Reply]

He’s one of the best scramblers in the NFL; that’s where it hurts the most. He needs to be able to do that next month or our SB chances are significantly diminished.
Hence why resting him the next few games is prudent. [Reply]

If you do lose, just have to find a way with hopefully Pat back on Christmas and Den may not even be trying week 18.
I wouldn't count on that with a division rival and a head coach who would love nothing more than to knock us out of HFA and build their own playoff momentum. [Reply]
