Answer me this: how do you get to the Show with a low baseball IQ?
Less than 1% of players in the US ever sniff the minors. These guys literally spend nearly every waking hour living, breathing, and consuming baseball... [Reply]

You watch Isbel play every day and can't help thinking there HAS to be a better option out there. My God he sucks ass.

If it wasn't for his speed, he wouldn't be in the show, his other baseball skills are quite limited at the MLB level. All you gotta do is watch the guy and see how dopey he is out there. When he's overexposed, like he is now, it's pretty plain to see. So maybe for clarity's sake, compared to other major league players, his baseball IQ is quite low. Happy? [Reply]

Yup. And when you combine that with lack of effort you really have no value to a baseball team.
Lady that sat behind me yesterday (mid 40’s, complete t-shirt fan) asked why he was running so slow to first, thought he was really fast, wondered if he was hurt or something.
I turned around and told her that no, he was half assing it because apparently he thinks his crayon game in Cincy bought him regular playing time for the rest of the year. She didn’t understand so I had to explain it.
But, yeah, his value is little to nothing right now beyond a pinch runner. [Reply]
