Do you not watch the NFL? Expecting to win 55 to 6 is absolutely asinine. Remember when we were gonna "blow them out at Arrowhead on Xmas?" Yeeeeeeeeah [Reply]

Getting downfield and catching bombs regularly. He did it against the Bears in preseason too. Gonna be interesting to see if he gets snaps with Pat or is just there for special teams.
Hopkins
Watson
Worthy
Hardman
Washington
Will be the guys on Sunday.
If they waste throws to Washington instead of feeding Worthy and Hopkins, we should all be very pissed.
You're going to see Washington on kickoff return, which means not at all. MAYBE on a punt return if they don't want to risk Hardman. [Reply]

We know the truth. We'll win. We have PatTRUCK Mahomes.
Beating KC means far more for the Raiders than the other way around. Remember the last time they beat KC before last year they drove a bus around Arrowhead. [Reply]

Lol if they can give Skyy targets then why not Washington? :-)
I think we all know DHop, Worthy and Kelce will be getting a lot of attention so I think there could be some good opportunities for Washington to get loose deep down the field tbh. We'll see. [Reply]
Even without the addition of DHop, this should be a lot like clubbing a baby seal. They can't run the ball, and they can't stop the run.
They've been a little more successful vs. the pass (ranking 18th overall), in 2024.
DHop, this season with Levis/Rudolph throwing to him, is 13th in the league vs. zone.
I don't expect Hopkins to see more than 6-7 targets for the game, and there's a lot of sub-packages he won't be in on in his first game as a Chief, but I do expect he will be on the field for at least some RZ work, and possibly some 2-minute drill (if it even becomes necessary). Andy's going to want to get Hopkins a TD in his first game in red-and-gold. Though once he scores, he may not see another snap in this one.
Heard earlier that the professional bettors think KC wins by 13, though I couldn't pull the trigger on the 10-pt spread. But I do think that this will likely be a dominant performance by KC, both on offense and defense this time.

Yeah, man, we’re not getting a true #1 WR for a conditional 4th for 2.5mm of salary for the rest of the year, but we are getting OUR #1. We just need someone to soak up a bunch of targets to raise the floor of the room, and I’d be quite surprised if he doesn’t lead WRs in that metric from the Buffalo game onward. [Reply]

Something like that. I think '14-'16 Larry Fitzgerald is probably a good comp, sans the 150 tgts thing. When ARI decided to move him into the slot more as his ability to win outside declined.
DHop is in basically the same part of his physical abilities. Doesn't win as often outside but can still win over the middle on shorter/intermediate timing routes, and well, he's still the 13th-best WR vs. zone in 2024, with Levis and Rudolph throwing to him. I won't be surprised at all to see him firmly in the top-10 (maybe even top-5) vs. zone before the season's over now that he finally has a real QB. [Reply]
