Wow so the Panthers let him go for a pick swap between a 5th or 6th. There is a good chance the compensatory pick will be higher then the 5th if they just let him walk in FA. What a well run organization. [Reply]

You'd think on pure large numbers alone he'd eventually hit a few of those against us.
But man, he missed like 4 or 5 really makeable deep throws against us in that playoff game.
"But it wasn't Lamar's fault they lost..." [Reply]

Until he does it, you gotta just play him this way.
I think this is a little outdated. Lamar’s beating defenses with the pass this year. The ravens defense can’t stop anyone and I don’t trust Lamar to consistently win shootouts even with diontae. It just takes one lukewarm pass performance. But that to me is way more the reason than saying Lamar’s been bad. Much as I hate to give the guy his due, he is a much better passer this year [Reply]

How many of Lamar’s good games this year came when Henry played poorly? A lot of his success comes from Henry being dominant. Not gonna say that he’s some sort of scrub, but that definitely helps. [Reply]
Lamar has passing issues but he's got plenty of talent around him now. That offense should be feared, even if the defense isn't at last season's level. [Reply]

This is very likely!
I believe the addition of Uche was for guys like Lamar and Josh in the playoffs!!
If you dont have time for Dionte to get open deep, it doesnt matter.

Still have to slow their run game and put them in passing situations to beat them. Justice Hill out of the backfield in the pass game and Likely are bigger problems for our linebackers. [Reply]

That's a significantly better group than the Chiefs defense faced in the AFCCG. We played them well this season until the 4th quarter where Baltimore had success. Even with some of Lamar's deficiencies, this kind of talent won't be easy to stop. Need the CBs to step up in Watson's absence. [Reply]

Yeah for sure. I’m not worried about the ravens. I’m just commenting on old narratives that Lamar isn’t playing well right now as an actual passer. Even if Henry opens up the passing game, Lamar is hitting the throws he used to throw wildly inaccurate. He’s cleaned a lot of that off and kudos to him for putting the time in to get better.
We will still beat him though. But I don’t think it’s because he folds as a passer like he always has. I think it’s because he has a really bad defense and he’s not the type of qb who can consistently overcome a bad defense the way Mahomes has at points in his career [Reply]

Their defense has some good players though. They shouldn't be bad in the long run. Heck, I can't remember the Ravens not being at least average defensively over a long stretch. [Reply]

I think losing McDonald hurt them more than they’d like to admit [Reply]

I'm with DJLN, you don't think Andy and the leaders in this locker room wouldn't be able to reel him in? [Reply]
