Yeah. I'm not one who thinks there's all these significant barriers that keeps a WR from producing in this offense, whether it be a rookie or a vet WR who's never played in Reid's system.
A talented player is a talented player, and if he's talented enough, and an opportunity exists, Reid and Mahomes will get him the ball.
JJSS has never played in anything like Reid's offense and became the benefactor of opportunity, doing really, nothing of significance. [Reply]

Little factoid: Dhop is used to moving around/lining up in various spots. Especially last season, when the backup QBs came in for Kyler and none were adept at throwing to the boundaries. He lined up at the slot and the H, etc. for about half the season. he also did his fair share of run-blocking in 2022.
OBJ is, or was always, a boundary WR. not sure if he ever blocked. [Reply]

I am still glad we didn’t get him. I’d love a wr like that but dudes a headcase and our team is really close knit. He seems like the type tomlin gravitates to, not Reid [Reply]

You're mad over this aren't you? :-) bro there is absolutely an adjustment for a kid who's never ran a route tree coming into the league compared to a vet who's played several seasons in a NFL offense. I don't even know how this is a debate [Reply]
