Practice Week 1 has begun and Chase is still holding out.
The Bengals are back to practice today as they begin prep for their Week 1 opener vs the Patriots. I don’t see Ja’Marr Chase out here at the start of the media viewing portion of practice pic.twitter.com/X9cC7b3BEk

Chase is getting at minimum $35 mill per, which, including home alone kid's annual salary, ties up roughly 39% of the overall team cap. Surely numbers can be spread around but you get the general idea that the bungholes are soon approaching faulked territory. [Reply]

lulz. That's about what i thought.
Does anything else matter? He's not healthy enough to win one...yes. The defense isn't good enough..yes. Your WRs aren't happy...yes. Will you win a title with all that...no [Reply]
Ja'Marr Chase was the most involved at practice as we've seen him recently. Spent the portion open to the media helping out with WR drills. pic.twitter.com/cEufVELUF7

I don't know why the Bengals don't just trade Chase for picks. The Chiefs have shown the league that it doesn't pay to give any one player too big of a piece of the pie. That said, I think the cap is going to explode and all of these big contracts will be meaningless. [Reply]
