Had an NFC Personnel executive tell me “He reminds me of J.J. Watt, when Watt was coming out. An explosive and versatile playmaker who has a high motor and can line up at 3,5, or 7. Very strong kid” #NFL#NFLDraftpic.twitter.com/5qM3g6OrMr

That's what I was thinking as well. Looks like he has the frame and flexibility to add a bit and not lose the speed. I really like the potential here. He seems to have good quick vision in his highlights, and if that can carry over and improve against NFL talent, he could be fun to watch.. [Reply]

He has really good technique and moves for a college guy, there's polish to his game. There's video of him grabbing a tackles wrists and throwing them in sprint, that's high level stuff. [Reply]
What's wild is that he's only played football for six years and still has a ton to learn despite showcasing a variety of different techniques (even if he does rely on some more than others too often). [Reply]

Which is even more impressive considering that he hasn’t been playing football all that long. Think he’s going to be very productive here. [Reply]

I showed you how their they tested in that area.
Nobody is saying that Karlaftis is Hutchinson.
Ok, but speed isn't necessarily explosion.
Tyreek first 2 steps are way better than Hardman's first 2 steps, yet they have very similar 40 yard dash times. Tyreek is explosive and Hardman isn't.
Compared to Karlaftis, Hutchinson is explosive.
Its the old eye test.
Also, this is not Karlaftis related, but can you please tell me what the status of Joshua Kaindoh and Cornell Powell is?
Are they likely cuts, or just special teams guys? I know that they were not high draft picks, but it seems like they have been forgotten.
