Purdy's record without CMC on the field is something like 1-5. Not terribly surprising considering CMC brings an average of about 125 all-purpose yards per game as well as a TD per game. [Reply]

He's got two losses this season, but in both he there for over 300 yards in each, so your narrative isn't supported. Besides sitting out a meaningless game in week 18 last year, the first three games this season are the first McCaffery have missed with the 49ers. [Reply]

I have to agree, Purdy has been good this year. [Reply]

Obviously I wasn’t limiting it to just this season. And Purdy’s record without CMC on the field is one of the more talked about stats on ESPN/FoxSports the last two or three seasons. However, I forgot about the most recent W/l, so I believe it should be 2-5 or 2-6, not 1-5, do you got me there. [Reply]
Brock Purdy has a passer rating of 113.6 with 6,220 yards, 46 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 24 games as a starter in his career. Yes, there is a ton of chatter about whether he is a product of the weapons around him, the scheme run, or whatever but the kid has done nothing but produce as a starter.
The only point that I was trying to make is that CMC hasn’t missed hardly any games as a 49er until this year. [Reply]
Frankly they produce running backs like we produce DBs. They are wasting money on CMC IMO. And of course he was going to get hurt. He’s put on a ton of mileage last season [Reply]
