I get what you're getting at but you realize the rankings take into account the weakness of the Concaf? So the USA have to prove more in Concaf than say a team in Europe if that makes sense. [Reply]

The rankings are complete shit, consistently, and have been since I started paying attention to international soccer about 30 years ago. Using the rankings as any kind of basis when going up against any kind of world power is folly. We've seen it time and time again. [Reply]

You’re mistaking how the rankings work clearly. The favorite to win the Super Bowl will lose in the regular season to some random ass shit team, it’s no different in soccer.
There’s a reason 9 times out of 10 one of the top 10 and usually top 5 ranked teams in soccer win the World Cup. You’re using the logic of because England tied Slovenia they either shouldn’t be #4 or Slovenia shouldn’t be 50 whatever and that’s just dumb [Reply]

?? The euro cup just finished Portugal and Slovenia…
If you’re talking about the scheduling of the copa, they have to do the games at the same time to avoid teams tanking or for w.e other reason such as tie breaker scenarios. [Reply]
