Salary cap is never gonna happen in baseball. The players would sit out for years to prevent it and the most powerful owners in the league don’t want it.

Salary floor w/salary cap would be so much more beneficial to all of the players, but they seem to be too stupid to fight for it. This should have happened a long time ago, because it'd get all those cheap ass teams adding more payroll and there would be more money to pass around.

Judge huffing .150 with a .605 OPS is so funny. The guy has 214 post season ABs and has a .196 AVG with a .730 OPS. That's way too much money for a player that absolutely chokes in the biggest spot.

Salary cap in any capacity would be the dumbest thing the players could ever fight for. Never gonna happen.

Yes, it's the union. There was no World Series in 1994 because the players went to war over the salary cap.

I'm surprised Tony Clark and the union agrees to the CBT penalties.

The kind of concession that may hurt them down the road in negotiations too.

Same reason they couldn't find better ones for the ALDS.

It’s glorious. He will be a part of the Yankees team that got back to the WS after all these years (in Yankees terms) and promptly got ass pounded. What a great baseball season this turned out to be!!
