So had Stafford.
For that matter, so has every single QB in the history of the NFL. [Reply]

Complete trash defense since 2003.
The longest streak since the merger for below average scoring defense.
It is quite amazing. No amount of new DCs, picks, or free agents can change it.
Even Stafford had a couple of top ten defenses with the Lions. Yet Raiders fans think Carr is the biggest problem.
Carr has nowhere near the raw talent Stafford has.
Stafford's physical peak was largely wasted in Detroit, but man he was fun to watch. He could do a lot of that off platform shit that Mahomes does so well now. And there wasn't a throw he couldn't make.
Carr in SF to see if Shanahan could coax a Matt Ryan sort of season out of him wouldn't shock me. But he's more dependent on system than Stafford, IMO. He just doesn't have the tools that Stafford has. [Reply]

OH SHIT
I keep forgetting Shanahanarat Jr over there has a 3rd year player with <100 snaps and Alex Smith Garoppolo on a contract year.
Shanahanarat Jr should be on the horn right now. [Reply]
