Sorry GB for your loss and all the others that lost their beloved pets since I last checked in.
RIP to them all.
Tonight's the first night in 26 years we haven't had at least one kitty to welcome me home from work. First time in 20 years I changed the bedding without having Meesh Meesh personally inspect the work. It's going to take me a few days to get over this one. I really miss him already.

Awesome looking dog.
Sorry to hear about your other dogs. similar here, we had 2, the 2nd bought about 6 months after the first. Both when they were puppies etc. had them 14 years, and had to put the first one down, then 6 months later the 2nd. That was a bad year. [Reply]
It's an amazing little creature. I say....ball....and in a few minutes she has one of her many balls at my feet waiting for me to toss it. The game is I throw it she retrieves it then I have to try and catch her, which can't be done*** And if I walk off only then will she bring the ball to me drop it and we start all over again.
At 4 pm (give or take 10 minutes either way) she comes to me making it very clear it's time to eat.
She is always asleep at my feet if possible and sleeps beside me at night if possible. When I leave and come back she is all over me with......I missed you.
When I take her in the truck she is as close as possible sitting beside me.
I love that dog.
*** part of my cardio conditioning is chasing this dog, she is fast.

I can finally participate in this thread! I'd like to introduce everyone to Daisy. She is a Bull Terrier/Blue Heeler mix that we adopted from the Southwest Missouri Humane Society yesterday. They estimate her birthday to be 9/15/19, so she's a little over five months old. She's doing great at adjusting from shelter to home, and her and our soon-to-be 4 year old kiddo are getting used to each other, too.
