I would be telling tales if I thought the D would be that dominant. Also, Andy went back to his old ways that were his demise in Philly with poor CM and lack of running the ball to protect his QB. Time for the rubber match! Go Birds!
Tampa beat us the same way with Brady and never showed up again.
IF Mahomes had more time we win. Didn't happen. [Reply]

Good for a weekend. Cool city, great food but it's dirty and nasty. [Reply]

Congrats on the Eagles win. Your guys deserved it, as the Eagles were better prepared for this game than KC was.
There's no excuses, no blaming the refs, or any other copouts (at least not from me). Eagles won fair & square.
And you are right, Andy went back to his old ways. [Reply]

Good food, music and drinks. It's got an ambiance unlike other American cities. Although I only spent 1 day there and it was the day after the Sugarbowl in 2010. [Reply]
Listened to Nate Taylor on Only Weird Games earlier.
Said the gameplan was going deep to Worthy. Which worked how many times all year? And the plan wasn't to set it up first, see if the line holds up, then start going deep as the game goes on. It was going deep from the start. So one would have to conclude that they didn't even consider the line might be shaky.
And when the line got blown up, the big adjustment was having Kelce (and Pacheco) blocking pass rushers off the line. Which we just got done laughing at the Texans for doing, putting TEs on Karlaftis to get their shit wrecked. And in addition to not working, it just meant less receivers running routes against a defense that only needed to rush 4 so everyone else was in coverage on every snap.
I wanted to kill myself listening to this shit even more than I did watching it unfold. [Reply]

Just a bizarre and baffling gameplan
Bizzaro world where Andy Reid got out coached by Nick Sirianni [Reply]
Not like anyone else did a great job there either. The double team was the only block that worked. You literally would have been better off running a QB draw there. [Reply]

To be fair, they had the matchup they wanted on the second drive of the game, Worthy one on one with a corner streaking deep with no safety help and instead of letting it rip like he should’ve, Pat turtled.
The execution was just as bad as the gameplan. [Reply]

This feels a bit like an upscale version of the 2016 loss to the Steelers. Tyreek laying in the weeds all year but never really reaching his potential that season. On film you saw him wide open for shots in the playoff game that never materialized.
Next season...BOOM!
The offense explodes in 2025...with no Alexian pot of bullshit waiting at the end of the rainbow.
