I’m not sure it’s worse than the romance scenes in 2, but that scene was a fucking travesty.

To each his own.
That was completely unexpected and magical to me.
That's exactly how I'd expect someone with the blood of Darth Vader flowing through their veins to save themselves from death in outer space.
And considering what happened to Carrie IRL it brought a tear to my eye.

My son and I discussed what was worse: Vader's "Noooooooo!" or flying Leia. But shitty romance is right up there.

"Magical"? GTFO. What a fucking troll you are, even on Star Wars.

All three are worthy considerations. That flying Leia was the only thing about this one that I really
hated .

I guess I don't see the problem with it.
As someone who was eager to see Leia use the force at some point, it completely blew me away.
I think the people who have a problem with that scene have a problem with the idea of Leia having any ability to use the force.
What would you have rather seen there? Her death?
:-)

Everyone else who was on that part of the ship died except Leia.
Yes, she should have died at that part in the movie.

Actually, yes.
Star Wars has killed off the actors who are still alive, and kept alive the actor who's actually dead.

No one else on that bridge was force sensitive, either.
It was a great scene.

She'd only been out there a few seconds, so not frozen. Did you not like the fact that she used the force or you didn't like the way she looked while using the force?

I don't have an issue with her using the force. I have an issue with how it was done.
She should have been dead after that. Similar to how Finn and Rose should have been dead after the kamikaze job that was done by Holdo.
