The fight is next month, Nov 11th I believe.
Tonight is just a "behind the scenes" fluff of the upcoming fight. [Reply]
Penn has been done for a while. I said a long time ago that Penn was never as talented as people thought he was. As soon as skilled guys started coming up around him, he fell to the wayside. Frankie Edgard would beat him 100 out of 100 times right now. So would Gray and a whole bunch of other guys. You can't just rely on being more talented than everyone else in a weak division for long.
I wouldn't have paid for that card last night. Suckage. GSP is still going to walk through Diaz if/when that fight happens. [Reply]

Penn might have the worst cardio in the UFC. He won round 1 against Fitch and Diaz, but after that he gasses when guys that are known for cardio like the 2 I mentioned start to impose their will on him.
I still say Diaz probably isn't even a top 5 welterweight in the UFC and GSP would have him on his back for most of that fight. [Reply]

Caught it, not much to say either way. The first time I watched Penn fight was probably about a year ago (just never got around to watching him or missed his fights for whatever reason) when he fought Frankie Edgar in Abu Dhabi and he looked like he was there to collect a paycheck as opposed to win a fight. I was never impressed with that guy and maybe I just caught him too late in his career but from my perspective I never understood the hype.

GSP, Fitch, or Kos all dominate Nick Diaz any day of the week. [Reply]
