More to come!

Rashee Rice | WR | SMU

One of the best WR prospects at the catch point and winning leverage mid-route. He consistently sets up defenders to put them on his back, locates the ball, and attacks it at the highest point.

Skill set is wild for a 6' 200lb WR. pic.twitter.com/ClxW4SJvi5

Rashee Rice was drafted with pick 55 of round 2 in the 2023 draft class. He scored a 9.53 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 145 out of 3062 WR from 1987 to 2023. https://t.co/lwD9tvVPvv pic.twitter.com/YjucxErSE1

He was open on the deep Noah catch. Not complaining though. :-)

Chiefs WR Rashee Rice has an 81% catch rate, that's the highest for a rookie receiver with at least 70 targets. The data goes back to 1992.

Next on the list: Michael Thomas (76%, 2016), Jamison Crowder (75.6%, 2021) & Amon-Ra St. Brown (75.6, 2021).

Zay Flowers definitely would've been epic, but we would've needed to pay a Kings Ransom to trade up for him. Rice was a great pick and I wouldn't have done it differently.

Hitting on Rice takes a lot of the sting out of missing on Moore.

Let’s extend Sneed, re-sign Tranquil, then focus the rest of the offseason on DL and Offensive Weapons primarily.

It's just sad it took our coaching staff this long to give him the highest snap %

Nah, man. Gotta wait until well into November to force feed him a bunch of screens and Slants.

100%! Sneed and Tranquil need to be re signed! If we can get Gay to be re signed as well I’d like him back. Move on from Jones. Sign a #1 WR like Mike Evans

I think we should pass on Gay. Seems like someone might overpay that ability and it feels like there’s always something with him. Either a nagging injury or off the field issue. I’d be hesitant to pay him very much if he has a strong market.

Team friendly deal? Sure. No issues with that.

I expect us to sign a WR. Maybe not a huge name but someone good. Then draft another one in the first couple rounds as well.

Next year could be a really good team (again, like always it seems).

It frustrating to think about (NEXT YEAR WE CAN BE GREAT AGAIN)

Wasting any of Kelce and Andy's last years in the league is fucking DUMB

Only receivers I can see as locks next year are Rice and Watson. Everyone else is sure as good to be gone. Maybe Ross sticks around who knows

I am very happy to be wrong about Rice. Guy has been the bright spot in this offense.

An optimistic view of that same opinion is that maybe this is a good year to be “down” (by Reid/Mahomes standards).

The AFC is bad enough that we can still make the Super Bowl even with this roster. It’s not a ridiculous thought at all.

We’re going to have a couple years like this. And we still have a shot.

Imagine a “dream season” being derailed by someone else’s “dream season”. That would suck.
