KC is going to be irrelevant next year. Especially if they dump Smith. They have too many holes on defense and no cap space, draft picks, or depth to fill them with. And with the FA class being terrible, even if KC clears some cap space they're not going to be able to bring in anybody.

Right now the Chargers and the Raiders are the favorites to win the division in 2018, and Denver isn't far away from leaping them.
