Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

But you have to remember that Pat reeeally likes ketchup. When you include the ketchup baths, ketchup slip 'n slides, and birthday parties with piņatas full of ketchup, it can really add up. [Reply]
Something interesting for all the nerds out there. H.L. Hunt, Lamar's dad, first major oil well was in town of Overton, TX. It is about 30 minutes from Whitehouse, TX where Patrick Mahomes is from.
So the Hunts are going to make another billion dollars off an East Texas product. [Reply]

I was thinking along those lines in a roundabout way myself today. My thought? "It's about goddamned time Texas did something for this franchise, yep". [Reply]
You think Clark did what Lamar did by keeping the other owners drunk for a few weeks while he locked down drafting Mahomes. Lamar did that while he bought up all the leases to the oil. [Reply]
Major General - We march to the Land of Oak wherein lies a pit of misery for all who claim its allegiance and in which no reputable soldiers remain. Despite our embittered history, this battle appears more jocund furlough than actual warfare. The cannon is ready. - Capt. Mahomes
I think my new favorite running compliment is Peyton enthusing about Mahomes, then pausing to remind young QBs that 'let's remember to focus on our mechanics, because just because Patrick makes it look easy doesn't make it easy.'
That, from the likes of Peyton, is a truly earned compliment.
