Hell, I don't think half of us that are fans and watch every game do.
They literally show the bare minimum needed to win any given game. The coaches are ego-less, and could give a shit about stats. The QB does not care about stats. The only thing this team is concerned with is having more points on the board when the clock hits zero.
They literally hold things back for just the right moment. They do it all of the time. Spags did it in the AFCCG-going against not only that game's tendencies, but ALL SEASON. Andy does it constantly.
They give no fucks about anything but winning.
Stats schmatz. They'll give you a false sense of security all game long just to rip your heart out at the end.
And that's more advanced than knowing most of the dumb narratives by the national media are bullshit, like regular season momentums heading into the playoffs and the idea of any given Sunday in the regular season really carrying over to the playoffs, etc etc.
It's the same bullshit we fell for before Mahomes, thinking the Chiefs required respect because they would best the Pats in September or would start the season 4-0 against a bunch of non playoff teams.
Pats fans had no chance of teaching us how the shit works and we have no chance with all these casuals. [Reply]

It's really weird how most of the ex-Patriots players are now defending the Chiefs.
They understand the difficulty of what we have been doing.
Way harder when you are the chased every week. [Reply]

QB is a part of the roster. In fact, it’s the most important part.
I’d say it’s pretty even with who has the superior roster. And highly dependent on who you’re asking.
Most of our roster has been to at least one SB, and still plenty have been to 2. The Eagles defense has how many players that have played in one? How many of their coordinators have coached in one? We have somehow kept most of our coaches/coordinators through this current run. Thank the football gods teams don’t want to wait for Spags to finish the playoffs to steal him away, or are too dumb to give a HOF coordinator a second shot at HC. (I think he would do much better, and the Rams have even said they had him in a bad situation as HC. He’s been around Andy and his system long enough to understand how Andy operates his team.)
But we have the better qb/coach combo. Best in the league and probably in league history tbh. Andy is at 28 playoff wins, 4 less than Hoodie, and gaining. 3-2 in SBs til tomorrow night. Fangio is a great DC, and has consistently slowed Pat and Andy’s game down. But never enough to get a win over Mahomes yet (fingers crossed we get one more win before that stat gets a 1 in the win column), but he’s not Spags. Now that Veach has gotten Spags the players he needs to run his defensive scheme, his defense has been elite! Idk anything about their db coach, or LB coaches etc. but Merritt is ridiculously underrated, and I hope he stays this offseason. But never know who has their eyes on him, even Kellen Moore could try to steal him away and give him a DC position in Nola. Cullen has transformed this DL since his arrival. As much shit as our WR coach got in 2022, he’s been great at developing Rice last year, and Worthy this season. And getting Hollywood worked back into the fold which has elevated the offense since his return. Even Andy Heck who I have always been critical of, seems like a good coach, and sometimes the players he’s had to work with haven’t been good enough for the team either. And Nagy has been a HC, and had pretty good luck with a bad Bears roster, and the help of Fangio’s defense.
It’s hard to beat KC because they have elite players at positions you need them in to compete. And the coaching has them always prepared, and their attention to detail is always on point. They are a huge advantage over Phillys IMO. And are gonna be huge part of us completing this threepeat (God willing).
Less than 24 hours from the start of the biggest game of these players careers. I feel the coaches and coordinators will have this group of players locked in and focused, and fully paid for the next 60 football minutes, and more if needed.
We have the advantage in coaches and quarterbacks, and WRs especially with our depth vs theirs. Our secondary is better, and though they have solid rookies at corner (much like we did in 22 SB). But much like ours were theirs are able to be tricked and beaten by a great coach/qb/wr that can exploit their tendencies.
Our coaching staff is easily better than theirs, they’re better than pretty much every team in the league. Which is why the Chiefs are back to back champions, and on the verge of history! If we can keep them together one more season, no telling what could happen. But we have a game to win tomorrow before we start talking about the future!
Long winded, but that’s the biggest advantage we have IMO. No need to mention their pos HC. Andy will always outclass him, and outcoach him. He’s the reason they’re so dysfunctional. Their coordinators are the reason they’re playing in the SB. Andy is the reason we’re on the doorstep of immortality. [Reply]
Going to eat like a king tonight, sleep like a log, then get up around 9 and immediately binge all of the hype on ESPN and Fox... the threepeat is happening [Reply]
