I have a question for SR but since he has disappeared I'll leave it for anyone who has some fashion sense.
Until recently everyone in management at work was allowed to wear anything we wanted as long as it was "nice". Now they have decided they want all of us in black polo's and khaki pants.
My question is what color shoes/belt? My instinct is they have to both be black, but are brown acceptable now too since the clothing is black and brown? [Reply]

This is coming from my wife who is pretty up on trends (part of her job): traditionally you would go with black. However black and brown are both neutrals and can be mixed now. For example: I can wear grey pants with brown boots now whereas before I would have stick to black [Reply]

I would go with brown. The only time I wear my black shoes now is with a black pair of pants.
Brown gives you a nice little fashionable pop, IMO. Just make sure you match the belt and the shoes. [Reply]
