Some fun here. Edwards-Helaire rushed for 1,415 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior .. all-purpose yards -- receiving (55 receptions, 453 yards) and kick returner (KEY) 10 returns, 214 yards pic.twitter.com/3Duq1jjy6J
Holy offense Bat Man. I love Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He is best Rb in the draft. Watkins and Hill deep. Kelce in the middle. And Edwards-Helaire underneath. Good Luck defenses.
Brett Veach told Andy Reid to watch some Clyde Edwards-Helaire film and told Reid you’ll see Brian Westbrook. Reid watched. Then got back to Veach and said he’s better than Westbrook.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire this season among rookie RBs: 344 rush yards (1st) 252 rush yards after contact (1st) 16 missed tackles forced on runs (1st) pic.twitter.com/6RU5r2fdB4

Damien Williams was supposed to be RB1 this season. CEH was supposed to have time to learn, well, everything.
The OL is not what was supposed to be starting from day 1, with LDT opting out. It's been dinged and patched up twice now.
If this team needs to lean on a rookie RB to compile 100 yds rushing/game, at 5 yds/carry and a TD every other week, we were screwed before the season ever started.
He is in fact outperforming Damien's efforts from last year the same number of weeks in.
So far CEH is doing fine. He's finding his way, and the OL is finding its way. They'll meet in the middle eventually.

Agreed that you generally don't want to take the ball out of Mahomes' hands, but when opposing defenses are playing 8 men in deep coverage you have to run it (or at least run it more). [Reply]

Exactly. You've got to force them to play honest defense. [Reply]
