Aside from DJ Moore they don’t really have a guy that scares anybody at WR

Kind of annoys me that this offseason is going to reinsert Lamar into an elite QB conversation he doesn't belong in.
Unless those reasons are valid which they absolutely could be if you take the red goggles off [Reply]

Im sure money plays into it. Not sure how much he values winning over money. But his tone this offseason sure sounds like at the very least he wants to play with a good QB. [Reply]

Hopkins said a little while ago that he would play with a non-elite QB. Sounded like he was fine with a good QB, as long as it was a stable organization and a good defense. I mean, he said out loud that he's spent his entire career posting 1,000+ yd seasons with Ryan Fitzpatrick, Brian Hoyer, Tom Savage, etc.
While he didn't say it out loud, I think he wouldn't have any issues with playing with Goff.
But he also indicated that he'd really like to catch passes from either Josh Allen or Mahomes just a few days ago. And KC offers more stability and a better defense . . . [Reply]

I don't have any red goggles on. I've complimented the hell out of burrow. Josh Allen even when he was getting negged. Hurts when critics tried to downplay his super bowl performance. I don't see it with Lamar. He hasn't progressed as a passer, sulks when things go sideways, arguably quit on a playoff team to save himself for a big contract. A lot of his success has been built around a dominant running game and his success faded when the defense didn't make stops and forced the offense to open up. So yeah, the idea that receivers are going to fix that system whose cap will struggle to keep the defense and run blocking together seems suspect. [Reply]
