Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?
Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? [Reply]
Going back a while, but does this ZVS 9mm ammo usually come back in stock fairly frequently? You ever had any issues shooting it? I typically shoot Winchester whitebox, but damn that stuff gets expensive when you're having fun at the range. Any other recommendations on good priced, but quality 9mm ammo? [Reply]

I've never bought from the CMP, but intend to some time this year. I'd like to add a couple of M1 Garands to my collection. You really can't go wrong with whatever version you buy. You can also make a road trip to their stores in Ohio or Alabama and pick out your Garand in person. I think they have a limit of 6 guns per year.
And they sold out of the M1 Carbines in 1 day. Hopefully they'll get more. [Reply]
again, the hypocrisy of this administration is extreme. How many deaths in Chicago this last month due to gun violence, yet Chicago has the highest restrictions on the 2nd amendment in the nation. Does that stop criminal behavior in Chicago? Nope, because criminals don't obey laws. [Reply]

They asked Facebook to start banning gun sale & trade groups.
So Facebook did. [Reply]

My hope on the 1911s is they don't auction off the entire allotment to the highest bidder. My uncle came back from WWII with both his M1 and 1911. The one time my Dad and got him to talk about them he said they were going to be donated to a museum upon his death. Sucks but I can understand his reasoning. [Reply]

Please keep us up to date. I'm interested in making a purchase of a gun with some historical intrigue, but haven't pinned down exactly what I want to make a move on. [Reply]
