Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Mayfield doesn't. Mayfield is what people said Mahomes would be. He does lock onto his first read and he will force balls into places he can't get it. He freelances too much and doesn't throw on time. He needs to be 'broken' of some things he did in college to succeed.
Mahomes, OTOH, can take that stuff he did in college and just make it work at this level because he's a clearly superior prospect in literally every conceivable way.
But it's !@#$ing Mayfield who walks around yapping like his shit doesn't stink. I really don't like that guy.
I want to agree with everything here, but one guy was drafted #1 overall and the other was an extreme "reach" @10. How in the ****ing world does that happen? [Reply]
I saw the Goff ESPN magazine cover and inside it made it seem like they made a Mahomes one too. Is that true? Will search for it if true.
Either way their is a great article about Mahomes. Hell just seeing the massive double page picture was great.
Best part was the stat that Mahomes has a 158.3 passer rating in the 4th quarter when it's a 1 score game. That has to be the best part of this season. Whether it's the Denver game or NE or whatever, how he has played when the chips are down is incredible. That's what always made me jealous of other teams and their QB's. Stepping up when it mattered. [Reply]
Mahomes listed on today's injury report with a foot issue... but he was a full participant at today's practice so hopefully nothing significant. [Reply]

He did limp after getting it twisted on a tackle where he ran for the first down. Personally I'd be fine scrapping some of the option stuff unless it's 4th down. The 1st down plays where we put him in danger is probably not worth what we gain from keeping the defense guessing. [Reply]

Cant be too careful with foot injuries. He should take some time out whether it's one day, or 96. [Reply]

Yes. I got it yesterday along with the SI issue. They're glorious.
