After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
The series will be written and executive produced by Emmy-nominated producer and actor Jon Favreau, as previously announced, with Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) directing the first episode.
Additional episodic directors include Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok).
It will be executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist will serve as co-executive producer. Stay tuned to StarWars.com for updates.

Gremlins came out in '84, long after the debut of Yoda in ESB in '80.
Outside of being little, with big eyes and big pointy ears, I don't see it. But I agree, if Dante is lame enough to whine about this, then I guess Lucas could whine right back at him. Although Lucas probably has better things to do, like dive into his swimming pool full of cash. [Reply]

I was thinking $4 billion will create a big pool to splash around in.
Goggle’d the deal.
George only got $2.2 billion in cash. The rest was in Disneys stock. Which was a wise choice. As of right now, Lucas has made $10 Billion off the sale.
Disney passed the recoup of the purchase price in 2018. It’s now all profit since then. [Reply]

This is why:
The “Gremlins” franchise is returning this fall thanks to the HBO Max animated series “Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai,” which Dante served as a consultant on.
Do not get, HORNY why? The other's removed their helmets and baby Yoda was released to Luke. I LOVE the series but this does not add up. Fill me in? [Reply]

You may want to watch the Boba Fett series to catch up. [Reply]
