And I don't agree that the players have given up on VJ. I think they've given up on the offense. It's disheartening when nearly every time the defense forces a turnover or 3-and-out, the offense or ST's immediately gives the ball back.
The defense comes out fired up every week, but the rest of the team just can't stop messing up. [Reply]

I think there were a handful of games where the defense just gave up. The offense and ST's can be blamed for a lot of those points too though. [Reply]

Several of Kubiak's coaching assistants believe a return is hardly out of the question, and, given the dearth of coordinator candidates around the league, he would surely be in demand.
So..if I have this straight...The Jets got a new set of downs on a late FG attempt and Reid tried a pass to an O-lineman on a 3rd and one? Looking at the box score...handing the Jets a TD, late, sealed the deal. Chiefs would have kicked a game winning FG without the extra ref-aided points. :-) To make sure a KC TD wouldn't win the game..they called a penalty on a 2 point conversion that was thrown out of the end zone. Jesus Christ...
Why is anyone still watching this garbage...I'm just paying attention to point out the fraud.
It took KC and Denver going 1-14 to manufacture this 3-way tie. I heard Manning may start next week...
I just want to point out a few things...this is Denver's longest losing streak in 50 years and KC's decline is the biggest drop off in NFL history. These are happening simultaneously while opponents teams are randomly benching their starting QBs (Tyrod/Eli). Chiefs have lost two games by the refs extending late drives... [Reply]

This may be taking it too far but I can totally see a team hosed by factors outside scheme, preparation, talent and coaching namely the officiating. All it takes is one call in a close game in December and a season gone from SB to couch. [Reply]
