Well Ju Ju is questionable this week. No way he holds up all season. The Chiefs know this. [Reply]

That's where the similarities end though. Nate Taylor doesn't ever get a single ****ing thing right.

Either would be phenomenal if an extension can be agreed upon…they both run exceptional routes and get separation against man coverage.
If JuJu misses time or somehow has a season-ending injury, JWat effectively becomes the WR1, and he's a nice guy that every 4-5 games has a great play, but he's literally only worth about 3-4 targets/gm.
Sky/Mecole is starting in JJSS place, and neither of those two are worth more than 3-4 targets/gm. Skyy's not even worth that.
And then it's Worthy, who's recently bumped up to about 5 targets/gm.
And that's it. Those are our remaining WRs unless we call someone up from the PS. And we already know that the guys we have on the PS aren't ready. We're razor thing at WR right now, and that is unacceptable.
We need a quality WR, not some place-holder or project, but a real live actual high-production veteran WR that can absorb the playbook in the least amount of time possible to effectively replace Rashee's role/production. Not some undersized speedster that's going to get hurt after a few games of going over the middle, but a full-sized, full-route tree, high IQ receiver that opposing DCs have to account for every snap.
All that said, I have my doubts whether we see one of those enter the building. [Reply]

Given Nate's breakdown, and the fact that DJ is missing practice this week with a "Rib/ankle/hamstring" injury, I would not be surprised if it happens later today or on Monday - especially if they sit him this weekend.
Someone in here mentioned Johnson is exactly what we need because he does everything that we would want Skyy to be able to do, but haven't been able to do. I watched his 2023 highlights, and yeah, I think that's a fair assessment.
I don’t see them parting with Kirk. Nothing I see makes me think they are in a tear it all down rebuild. They believe that they have the talent to compete and will most likely can Pederson and hire someone else to coach that roster. [Reply]

I don't know that that's true. Maybe, but the reality is that they're 1-5, and they still have a gauntlet of tough games ahead of them, including GB, PHI, MIN, DET, NYJ and HOU. I doubt they can win more than a couple of those, and really they'd have to get pretty lucky to do even that. Not with that defense, never even mind how terrible they're executing on offense right now. [Reply]

Sooooo:
Darius Slayton(27)
Diontae Johnson(28)
Calvin Ridley(29)
Mike Williams(JUST turned 30)
Demarcus Robinson(JUST turned 30)
Christian Kirk(28)
Kendrick Bourne(29)
Jerry Judy(25)
IF its true Veach won't touch someone older than 30 and a trade does happen...It will probably be one of these players.
Calvin Ridley is very temping as he is still under 30, has crazy talent and his contract is very very good for a trading team!
Calvin Ridley:
ROS: About $2.5M at Deadline
2025: $23M LAST YEAR OF GUARANTEED SALARY
2026: $21.75M
2027: $22.25M
Ridley coming out saying he is unhappy because of targets could be causing other issues and Titans are ok with moving on.
I also think that while Pat spreads the ball around and Ridley more than likely won't see all teh targets, WINNING will fix all of that! [Reply]

He's right though. They're going to can Pederson and hope a new coach can figure it out. To do a rebuild, they'd have to give up on Lawrence right after he signed that whopping contract. That's just not gonna happen. Kirk likely isn't going anywhere for that reason. [Reply]
Nate Taylor is on 96.5 (610) and it's really evident that he has no fucking clue what is going on. He says he thinks they've talked about Johnson and Hopkins, but doesn't know for sure. He has no sources at all. [Reply]

Ok, so him throwing shit at the wall actually stuck. I've heard him say a shit ton of other stuff that never happened. The Sneed thing may be the one thing he's gotten correct, but it's nothing he heard and only something he came up with. [Reply]
