Maybe it does slow his velocity down and maybe that means he doesn't throw the ball 10 yards over their heads anymore but I doubt it.

How must it feel to be Paxton Lynch? They throw a late-round pick out there for 1+ seasons until it's obvious that he can't play. Then they look around on the bench and start the guy that they got rid of once already, until it's obvious that he can't play. Then they look around again, see you, sigh, and say, "Why not?"
