I just feel like everyone is going to spend all week talking about Mahomes' ankle or Burrow being a Demigod or Chase against this young secondary or Lou Anarumo being a psychopath...and then in the end it's just going to Samaje Perine bludgeoning Bolton and Gay to death.

yeah I mean if they sit Burrow until the bye, which they should and let's say they are 2-4 even if like 9-8 is enough to get that last wildcard spot, they still have to play the 49ers, bills, chiefs, jags, ravens. the back half of their schedule is a lot tougher and they'd have to go on the road against the 49ers with burrow who is fresh off an injury and had played 2 games since the start of training camp. it would take a miracle. I guess to bring this back to the OP, they shouldn't have called it burrowhead because they lost that game and are very likely going to miss the playoffs. they angered the gods with their hubris and are being punished for it. Daedalus warned you bro [Reply]

The NFL comes at you hard. One moment you have people equating Joey Brrrr to PM15, and two games into the season, he becomes an afterthought. Josh Allen should have been a good learning lesson. There is only one Great constant in this league and that is Patrick Lavon Mahomes the 2nd. All the others are like tiny fish swimming circles inside an aquarium. [Reply]
I mean, they’re not winning with him in the game. If we had to make it a few games without Mahomes I’d trust Andy to still have this team ready to play and win. He’s done more with less. But let’s face it, Bridesmaids coach is no Andy Reid. [Reply]
