So yeah, fall is just around the corner and the weather here lately hasn't been seen in maybe decades... low to mid 70s for highs and low to mid 50's overnight temps for days on end, simply incredible for early August in this area
In a word, its been INCREDIBLE
So with that in mind, I went big heavy comfort food tonight
Chicken fried steaks
Mashed taters
Scratch milk gravy
Green beans with bacon and onions [Reply]

What was the total cost of the seasonings?
Just wondering since I have a few packages of birria bombs I haven't tried. The package has 2 bombs for $15-20. Which is good for up to 6-10lbs of chuck roast. [Reply]

Probably 12 total for the chilis the rest of the stuff I had on hand. Half an onion a couple tomatoes and some vinegar garlic oregano cinnamon and cloves.

Bomb may actually be more economical
Yours doesn't have the msg so that's a plus for me. I always feel like crap after eating out at a place that uses that crap. [Reply]
