You're a retard... I watched it. Camped all weekend, but watched it. Miserable. We'll see what they do to address and fix it, lots of issues.

If it helps, Derek Wolfe, your team has never been respected.

Now the reality has set in and time to accept it... from my point of view, the team should focus on what makes them stronger 2 years from now. Spend the remaining games figuring out who to keep and if the dollars are worth it. Focus on moving out the older expensive guys, trade them or cut them - whatever makes sense. Build around a core, there's a good one there and just hit refresh.

They've lost 5 ugly games in a row and they have exhibited no real fight. So, accept it and move on. Shit happens. I'm not going to get bent out of shape over it, it's been a hell of a ride since 2011. Eat the 2017 season and focus on building a true contender. Lots of core guys there with 3-5 years left in them, move on and have some fun with a restructure.

And, find a guy to help build the draft strategy...

They should just let Lynch play the remaining games and prove whether or not he's worth anything, it's not like the other two are going to be that much better. Play it out and move on.

What “core” do the Broncos really have?

It’s not a young/talented one. I’ll tell you that.

You can find the roster and ages pretty easy. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/denver-broncos/contracts/

Quite a few guys in the 30 or under area that are locked in and worth the money. Several ways to gain more cap by releasing/trading to make some moves. They need to fix the OL - same issue from last 3 years, but have 2-3 guys that have good upside.

And, for giggles - here's a quick graph that shows only those players locked through 2020-2022. Several great options (14) and a few that are unknown, mainly young guys. Flame away if you like, but these guys are young and solid with several years left, plenty of time to fight through 2017-18 and be ready to do great things in 2019. Staylor, explain how this core locked in through 2020/2022 is not young and talented.

I'd like to see them rip off the band aids and just make the tough calls now. They'll be better for it and when these guys are 30-32, they're just reaching 'old player status' with good years left.

We'll see what they do.

:-) Camped at Robbers Cave until 3pm Sunday... made it back to Dallas at 6:30. Sunday Night game, yeah I was able to pull it off. One of the dads did bring a set up to watch the damn OU game. Kind of annoying, but oh well.

You have absolutely no under 30 year olds to build around offensively, so by the time you do that your “core”, which consists of 27-30 year olds on defense, will probably be over the hill.

It’s amazing that you don’t see how bad that roster is. Your “core” has about a 2-3 year window at best and it’s going to take a lot longer than that to fix your offense.

You don’t have a QB, or any under 25 year old studs. It’s arguably one of bottom 5 rosters in the league right now long term, but you probably won’t have the luxury of drafting in the top 5 because your defense will keep you guys in games for the next couple of years.

It’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better, but you can continue to be in denial all you want.
