Nzoner's Game Room>Off Season Lets Talk Guns, Part 2
HonestChieffan 11:58 AM 01-23-2011
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Haha

It took forever and most of the time I forgot about it. Paperwork was very easy though.

Nice... That's about the same length of time I had to wait for my LaRue rifle, about 16 months...

Is a supressor stamp transferable when you die or does the inheritor have to buy a new stamp? My state doesn't allow them so i haven't really dug into it too much.

I *LOVE* my Bersa.

I carry the BP9cc in a FOXX holster. They make the BP380cc now as well!

From what the dealer told me. I did the individual form. If I die my wife gets it but has to transfer it into her name. She can do that without having to pay the tax stamp. If she decides to sell it the buyer will have to pay the tax stamp fee.

Shot 3gun yesterday. The pump shotgun was the only drawback, and not because of the pump action but because of capacity. If i throw a mag extension on it i am confident i could be somewhere near the top end of the group. It was dry, windy, and sandy out there yesterday and everyone was having issues with the jm pros and versa max. One kid completely slayed every stage, like half of everyones time. Crazy. I ran in the middle of the pack with about $1000 worth of equipment total

Shot the suppressor yesterday. Didn’t have to use heating protection. The bullet hitting the target was louder.

It did take me 1.5 hours to clean the suppressor and gun. Dirtied the hell out of it. A lot of gas blow back too. Still pretty sweet though.

Pretty similar to an air rifle, especially with subsonic ammo.

That must be awesome. Legalizing suppressors was on the verge of actual consideration here, but then got quietly killed.
