Dynasties are weird. Just as Clemson seemed to be pulling out of view, they blew a tire and crashed into the barriers...
That's pretty bizarre too. Dabo just seemed to lose it somewhere in there. He's the one common denominator to that whole train wreck. [Reply]

Clemson's downfall is Dabo's own doing. Being reluctant to utilize the transfer portal and be heavily involved with NIL is practically shooting yourself in the feet.

Correct. Let's stay grounded here and really the goal for 2023 was to see the program actually get better and show some stability. I think outside of a total collapse, we can confidentiality say check and check.

The 2007 and 2013 teams lost out on BCS bowls because of those regular season losses. Had they simply lost the CCG in both years, they wouldn't get the title shot, but they would have played in the Orange and Sugar Bowl respectively. When a program hasn't done that since the first year of Nixon, that's a big accomplishment.
It’s easier to do that now. “New Year 6s” bowls don’t have a cap on number of conference teams. If the 2007 and 2013 teams accomplished what they did with modern bowl rules, both would’ve made those NY6 bowls [Reply]
