Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

I live deep in Bronco territory, and the experience has been amazing. Funnily enough, I had been the only one in the staff lounge who gave the Broncos a chance on the Monday Night Game.. (Last year, I was the only one who predicted we'd lose to the Titans).
The morning after our Monday Night match another Social Studies teacher in my building (he has 30+ years teaching experience and he and I have a great relationship), stormed into the teacher's lounge and said "Those ****ing Chiefs." He then went on and said "Your kid is AMAZING." He said he hated to admit it, but during Elway's prime there was never a game or season that felt out of reach - and he said that watching Mahomes just "create magic" brought back great memories.
My co-workers all give me dirty looks and are quick to say "just wait for the playoffs" - but they all know the incredible talent that we now have behind center. [Reply]

I’m loving the “wait for the playoffs” comments that people are falling back on now.
That’s literally all that’s left. Any logical person can look under center and why that excuse no longer applies. [Reply]

Just smile and say... yes, just wait for the playoffs [Reply]

I can't stand Collinsworth because he's just CONSTANTLY talking. But it wouldn't be surprising to hear him pleading for the Bengals to do something to stay within 2 scores. Those 4th quarters in blowouts have to be excruciating for them.
This was my favorite call of last season. Why? Because instead of babbling his fucking stream of consciousness, he sees Tyreek turn the corner and all he says is 'Uh oh!"
Patrick: You see, I understand you men were just playin' around, but the Walrus, he just doesn't get it. Course, if you were to all apologize...
[Men Laugh]
Patrick: I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my Walrus don't like people laughing. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it. [Reply]
