Went all out on brakes and suspension. Did a power rack conversion (all bolt in if you can believe that), Upper/Lower tubular control arms by Global west and fully adjustable coil over shocks. Suspension is going to be insane. It will be cool to actually be able to adjust the ride height to where I want it too.
On the motor end I basically started with a hypo 327/350hp motor from a 68' vette. Bored to .331. Kept the steel crank, pink rods and 10:1 flat top pistons. Swapped cam to the Extreme Energy Hydraulic Roller cam. Duration 276/282, Lift .502/.510. Slapped on a set of Brodix Aluminum heads with 200cc Intake Runners. Plans are to add an EZ EFI system next.
Running with a 700r4 and a Hughes Performance 3,000 stall. Should work nice with the 3:73 posi I have in the rear.
My buddy is friends with the Editor at Car Craft magazine who ran all of my spec's. Says it should come in around 425-440hp.

That was absolutely my wife's parking. I was actually jawing at her while taking the pic.
My body shop buddy and his wife were there to pick us up and go to dinner and he was telling her keep parking like that and sooner or later he was gonna get paid.
And I'm also taking the 4x4 off the side. Gonna take the rear spring spacers out and see if I can get it sitting level, and sooner or later settling on some wheels [Reply]
