John knows how important the QB position is he was the only QB I know of who took 3 teams to a SB who didn't belong there.
We were lucky to have continuity there for his 16 years. It is hard to find those kinds of guys. There is a reason kc hasn't even tried to draft a QB high, drafting QB's is a crap shoot.
I know right now Trevor is terrible but the problems he has are fixable and a good OC would help him out more and play to his strengths. I thought McCoy would be perfect for him, he scraped something out of Tebow, he helped Manning for a year. I still think there is value in Trevor and he isn't the whole issue on that O but it isn't anything that will get fixed this year.
Broncos biggest issue is trotting out a 1st time HC. They always seem to win a few games early then when people have tape on what they are doing they go on extended losing streaks.
A good, experienced HC would have adjusted to the single high looks and made them pay by attacking downfield but the Broncos can't throw downfield because the LG and RT is complete scheisse. They had to start a G at RT last week, he was the 4th person they tried at RT this year and all have had spectacular failures. They should move Leary back to LG and give the young QB one side of the field to trust. Run to the left. Keep all the trash on one side of the formation where he can see the fail when it happens. Alas, our rookie HC won't do that. Then they need to steal from Andy's play book and get everything out at the LOS and play the YAC game until they get some time to throw downfield.
Having Sanders out, DT playing through an injury and Derpy fumbling away 1st downs isn't helping.
Going to be a rough 3 weeks for sure.
Good luck trying to stay in the hunt for the 1st seed in the playoffs. It is hard to win on the road in the playoffs. [Reply]

I said the NFL was too unpredictable to make a five week bet...and look what happened..Sanders gets hurt. You're welcome...
It only took 18 months after Manning for Horseface to break a 25 year, 390+ game shutout streak to the ****ing Chargers no less...and that's just the beginning of it. He's totally wasted that defense with no hope in sight. How's your young Alex Smith QB coming along...do you want to post some more stats? McCoy really dialed up the offense that Kubiak was killing...Nice coaching choices...meanwhile the Rams are in first place.
Once teams had enough tape....the Donks first real venture out of the thin air results in zero points. The worst offensive output in 2 1/2 decades...

You never answered my comment that you were high and mighty about Denver at the beginning of the year, and now you're all, "Well, what did you expect? We have a first year head coach!"
Did you find out this information during the regular season about your head coach being in his first year? Is there a reason why you're so down on first year head coaches now that Denver is losing, but during the offseason when you guys hired him, you thought everybody's farts in Pile High smelled like fucking cinnamon buns? There is really nothing left to say...that's about as terrible of a two game stretch as I could imagine.
When I predicted 1-4...I didn't think the Donks would respond with such emphatic chaos. That was ****ed...

Black Op did. He told us around the commencement of the season that Smith had been "greenlighted".
I guess the light turned to red, the production was shut down, and a re-write with Ron Howard is currently underway. [Reply]

While I did predict that Smith would have the best season his career... that greenlight did turn to red the moment Rodgers got hurt. Chiefs hadn't received one crucial penalty until that moment...
The marketing match-up died...it's now which of Carr, Smith, Big Rape, and Brady teams have the least amount of injuries. They are going to be pressing HARD for the Raiders...poor Bills this weekend.
They want Brees/Rape....now. Injury to Bell kills it. Karma is coming to the Steelers...like the fake Raiders experiment last year. The universe doesn't **** around.... [Reply]
