Petro and Blair were talking about Mizzou yesterday and Petro brought up Michigan St. and wondered out loud if they’d throw a stupid amount of money at Drinkwitz, it’s an interesting thought and conversation.
They also brought up North Carolina, which is the one I’m keeping an eye on esp. if Mack retires after the season. [Reply]

Leaving Mizzou for Michigan State doesn't seem like a move worth making if the money is close.
And if we have boosters lining up to throw money at Wingo, I can't imagine we'll lose a successful head coach over finances.
This is where being in the SEC is awfully nice - the exposure and prestige that comes with the conference, I would think, would break ties in keeping quality people. [Reply]

I agree….I just thought it was an interesting thought. I would touch the MSU job with a 300 ft. pole lol.
I do think it becomes intriguing if UNC opens up… [Reply]
Mizzou is swimming in donor money right now from what I'm hearing, you can see it in NIL but enthusiasm is high. I don't see Drink leaving unless it's another job in the SEC. He was an assistant at Auburn so maybe there's an SEC job where he might go, but Mizzou is going to make it hard to leave with their money. [Reply]

Maybe he's secretly a sexual predator and wants to get in on the action there in East Lansing. [Reply]
Honestly making a 3 ring circus out of announcing where you are heading to playing your college ball seems like a "look at me...look at me" scene meant to feed egos [Reply]
Georgia opened as a 20.5 point favorite. I expected them to be heavily favored, but not by 3 touchdowns. I have no expectations of a win, but I do expect it to be much closer than that. [Reply]
