No, I said they can’t be a fraud when there’s literally 0 expectation of them being good in year 1 with Pope after he built an entire roster of transfers. [Reply]

It’s embarrassing to lose a game to a 1-6 SEC team at home. It just is
Throw in the Calipari factor and it’s a pretty terrible loss
Lot of really good Pope wins this year but this is definitely a massive clunker

Yeah, that’s a fraud all right.
Literally couldn't care less about losing to Cal. He's still not a good coach. Congrats on your SB Hogs!

Your hope doesn't make it a reality. I'm not the least bit embarrassed. Hogs won't play another game like that again this year. Just like they didn't up till now. They're bottom dwellers and they played the game of their life against a shorthanded UK team.
They'll finish at the bottom of the SEC and enjoy a trip to the NIT. Him getting the only game he cared about doesn't move the needle at all for me.
They're bad. We're good and that's the way it will play out the rest of the season.
If there's any embarrassment to be had today, KU gets the majority of it. A rookie porn chick doesn't choke that hard. [Reply]

KU lost to a good Baylor team on the road, they’ve done it before and they’ll do it again. Nothing embarrassing about it.
UK was always only gonna get one chance to get their “revenge” on their former coach (that they happened to drive out of town for a worse coach who has never in his entire career been able to coach defense) and they completely shit down their leg at the opportunity. The Hogs may not be good but very clearly neither is UK. [Reply]

Hopefully this ends with a 4-5 matchup in R2 of the tournament to see who truly the biggest fraud is. I’m confident it will be the team who plays absolutely no defense. [Reply]

Don't worry man. Kenpom will still love you because you're sooooooo aWeSoMe at defense. Well, except for the 2nd half today. :-)
Meanwhile...UK will still be sitting around 6 in WAB while Kansas is more along the lines of 14. I'm sure you know all about it. The one metric that is arguably the most accurate when ranking tourney teams.
I'm just as confident that the team with the U and the K in the correct position would win, the same way they would have last year, with a bunch of freshmen, if they only had a guy who knew how to coach. [Reply]

Only KenPom? You’ll notice who is above who on T-Ranketology (check the WAB ranking as well). No metric has UK above KU and it will stay that way all season given that UK is incapable of guarding anyone. [Reply]
