I'm surprised they have a slot to burn like that.

Oh wow, ok thats not what I thought
Seems like if LRZ was savvy and self aware, he'd recognize that he needs at least ONE good year on a practice squad/intensive offseason program to develop pro fundamentals... instead he's getting ahead of his ski's and jumps ship from the Master to his apprentice
We'll see how it works out, Cotton... but his long term chances just took a huge hit [Reply]

Eh, if the Jags are actually putting him on their active roster, that's a salary difference of like $750k for the year. Hard to blame a guy for taking that. [Reply]

Can't really argue with that 750k, if LRZ wanted a long term NFL career he should've punted here IMO... but as Steve Miller once sang, take the money and run [Reply]

yeah he was a big star in rugby but was still only making $150K, right? $750K minimum sounds like a win to him. Maybe he’ll fail and be released, then he can come back to us. Do your time on the practice squad, learn blocking and tackling at this level. You have the speed and size, do that hard work and then you’ll get millions. [Reply]

Everywhere I’ve read says it’s the Jaguars practice squad. Haven’t seen any reports of Rees-Zammit being signed to Jags 53 man roster. He wasn’t claimed off of waivers. [Reply]

Defintely LRZ is on the Jaguars practice squad. Why would LRZ do that? How are the Jaguars Practice squad better than our practice squad? Did someone on the Chiefs not like him? [Reply]
