Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was detained by police today entering the stadium for a driving violation, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus. But Rosenhaus said Hill will play today.

It would be helpful to see the exact code and degree to which the window must be exposed. "Rolled down" or "rolled down entirely"? Seems like splitting hairs, but that is exactly what would proceed in court. The letter of the code/law is important.

When he seemingly rolled the window up completely, his window undoubtedly went into auto-up mode. He then left it cracked open. And then the tyrant went apeshit.

All cops are bad? I'm just taking a guess.

Edit: I was close.

They'll all be fired soon enough.
Do you mean black or stupid? Maybe both?

He probably doesn't even know it, but he presented himself as a flight risk. I'm pretty sure the cop even says "don't take off", which speaks to his reading of the situation as he glanced at the traffic ahead, and the mental midget instantly rolled his window up while sitting in a running car. Shit predictably rolled down hill from that point on.

I don't have an issue with people picking out a cop or two in that group who appear to need an attitude adjustment though. One in particular is probably due for an ass kicking.

De-escalation. That's what they're supposed to do.

That is a bunch of chodes power tripping and at least one is getting fired. One less shitty cop in the world.

I'm betting two.

Most people would have just been cooperative with the cops in that situation. But Hill has to go diva on them and keep the window rolled up, etc. Probably had tinted windows which make keeping the window rolled down a priority. Then Hill doesn't move when told to get out of car. Police can't do there job when nobody respects their demands. Hill wants to drive like a teenager then be treated like a king. Don't work that way bro!

I'm a big backer of police in general.
This was completely unnecessary. Way to escalate the situation from like 20 to 100.

I will agree the cops went unnecessarily berserk after the window rolled up. However, is the cop supposed to know that the windows of that car roll up in auto mode? If the windows go up, who's to say the guy inside isn't reaching for a weapon?

I would say that kind of cocky arrogance more than anything (especially from a rich black man). I had a feeling Tyreek pissed them off in some way through being his unique self and sure enough they just completely lost control after that.

They'll be out of their jobs shortly and they'll be lucky if Tyreek doesn't sue their asses as well.

Second cop in particular needs gone. First one and Hill were being obnoxious towards each other but that dude escalated it into a full blown confrontation.

Tyreek should have kept the window open, but he gave them his license. It really shouldn't be that hard to just give him the ticket and move on instead of trying to instigate a fight with the guy (and then literally pulling him out of a vehicle when he clearly was coming out).

It is normal and ok to roll up a window during a traffic stop. He may not have realized they were tinted... In the moment. So I'm wondering if that was advice from drew rosenhaus who may not have known that either. I didn't take that as him being noncompliant though understandably why the cops were a little more on edge after that

Isn't it funny how trouble seems to find the same people over and over and over?

Do not cooperate with the cops and you will not like the treatment! These guys think they are entitled. They are NOT.
Both sides could have done several things to defuse the situation.
People need to put their damn cell phones away.
