I want to hear that Manager Q goes all nuclear in the locker room tonight!! Needs to light a fire under the offense!! I wanna see a reporter come out with a ball point pen jabbed into his eye and shit!! God damn it!!! [Reply]
So the Twins (winners tonight) are a game and a half behind us, and these Tigers are 3 games behind. Seattle is 4 games behind and are currently trailing the Yankees the last time I looked. All with 10 games to go for us. [Reply]

It’s not hyperbole.
We picked the worst fucking time to have a 3 games losing streak. And all 3 were winnable with better AB’s by our guys. Just shitty plate discipline and not taking good at bats.
If we lose tomorrow (and that’s a real possibility with Skubal pitching), we have just a 2 game lead on a playoff spot with 9 games to go.
We had a 6 game lead going into Sunday. That’s a brutal collapse and putting us on the edge of an all time collapse with what should have been pretty much an automatic playoff bid just 3 days ago.

Q doesn’t have emotions. He’s a baseball manager. They all have the emotional range of a 2x4 [Reply]

Seattle and Detroit have been hot.... Seattle will probably come back in the late innings... that's what they do at home. [Reply]

No, but those odds will drop quite a bit if they lose tomorrow. Down to only a 2 game lead with 9 to go.
And Minny’s and Tiggers don’t exactly have a daunting schedule over the final 9.
It will be time to be concerned.
But, again, win tomorrow (tough task) and we’ll still be in decent shape.
Biggest game of the season for the Royals tomorrow to date. Hope they show up locked in and ready to go. [Reply]

Yanks are now ahead 6-1 in the 4th. And yes, thanks to Ryan Lefebvre (or however it's spelled) constantly reminding his audience, the Tigers are 24-10 now since sometime in July, the hottest in baseball. [Reply]

Detroit has to go 7-3 in the last 10 to have any chance to pass the Royals since the Royals have the tiebreaker over them already. Royals would essentially have to lose out or only win two games in the last 10 for them to be in trouble of not making the playoffs. [Reply]
