With RB Isiah Pacheco expected to be sideliend 6-8 weeks, the Chiefs are bringing their former RB Kareem Hunt back to Kansas City for a Tuesday visit, per league sources. Hunt could help fill the Chiefs’ running back void. pic.twitter.com/nDzNGlrcuH

Kareem didn't get the axe for kicking that woman. He got the heave ho for lying about it.
Clark: Kareem, did you kick that woman?
Kareem: Nope.
Clark: Then would you kindly explain this TMZ video for me, please?
Kareem: Well, ****.
Clark cares far more about a 3-peat than he does how he felt in this moment from 6 years ago. Let's be realistic. [Reply]
I bet he ran for coaches and showed he’s able to play/in football shape. If he got that far (which is unlikely, but possible) then he probably had a sit down with Veach, Andy and Clark. He will probably need to commit to a “re-introductory plan” including non negotiables during the rest of the season regarding drinking and staying out of trouble.
The good news is you know damn well Veach had to get Clark’s OK to even have Kareem in for a visit.
I hope the kid gets a chance and maxes out the opportunity. [Reply]
All about getting the three peat. If Kareem is in football shape and something left in the tank, then go for it. I can separate the person from the player. Veach has my trust. [Reply]

I just don't understand why anyone would even think he's still good. He's trending down. Had an AWFUL year last year. Is 29. Know who else was even better and is on a practice squad? 29 year old Dalvin Cook. [Reply]

We're probably not getting anyone "good". Just need someone who can take a few carries, not fumble, and block for the QB. [Reply]

Felt sorry when he was telling the cop he could’ve been in the Super Bowl. [Reply]

They didn't care about that. He got fired because he lied to all of his bosses (Clark Hunt, Brett Veach, Andy Reid). If he just told his bosses the truth, the Chiefs would have found a way to keep him. His violence incident was not as severe as Ray Rice, who got blackballed by the entire league. Sure enough the Cleveland Browns were happy to sign Kareem. [Reply]
