Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

I know the sack numbers are nice but I still put most of that on Mahomes. I've not been generally impressed by the amount of time he's had to throw, especially considering the fact that teams really can't gamble too often getting after him when there are that many guys in the pattern that can hurt them.
The Pats were getting pressure with 3 on fair occasions last week. That's not great, Bob.
The patriots also played more 0 coverage and big blitzed Mahomes more than any QB I can remember.
New England doesn't RUN 0 coverage. Hardly EVER. They did against Mahomes.
Because Belichick knows you can't give that QB and those WR's time to run around the field. Blitzing has less potential to harm you when you're up against a QB/WR combo who can throw deep even when you do play coverage designed to prevent it. [Reply]
Fellow nerds: Patrick Mahomes leads the NFL with an 85.0 QBR. The distance between him and second-place Drew Brees is greater than the distance between Brees and fifth-place Ryan Fitzpatrick. Tom Brady is sixth. #math
