I just feel like everyone is going to spend all week talking about Mahomes' ankle or Burrow being a Demigod or Chase against this young secondary or Lou Anarumo being a psychopath...and then in the end it's just going to Samaje Perine bludgeoning Bolton and Gay to death.

If Burrow didn’t turn into Alex Smith in the playoffs you would have back to back Super Bowl wins but instead you have none and this season is going to be wasted as it’s clearly over to win anything and the Bengals will be in limbo for years now while they keep trying to recapture the luck that got them as far as they got until the roster and coaching staff turns over, just like the Bills. If you go 0-3 you chances of making the playoffs are remote and you can kiss a chance at home field goodbye so it feels like a must win game. So you need Burrow. On the other hand he's hobbled and not playing well and you don't want to fuck around with calf injuries or you end up like the Jets, so it would be best long term to sit Burrow. If he's injured there's no way to make the playoff and you risk him not coming back the same.
I'd probably sit him since the downsides are so dire if he gets hurt even worse. [Reply]

rfaulk has been running around this thread like a chicken with his head cut off. Forgive him a little, his mega $$ QB is broken, they are staring at 0-3 and a season gone down the tank before the 1st 1/4 of it is played. [Reply]

Could it be your owner being cheap and thinking turf is cheaper overall? [Reply]
I thought they would be on a mission to win it all this year knowing that they're going to lose some pieces next year. Glad to see the bungles are back. Now maybe their obnoxious fans will stfu [Reply]

Not at all. That team could go on a run and win the AFCN. Cleveland lost Chubb for the year and that can't be replaced. Pittsburgh is meh. Baltimore at some point will lose Jackson for a few games. They don't need to have a great record, they just have to win the AFCN. [Reply]
