One of the best WR prospects at the catch point and winning leverage mid-route. He consistently sets up defenders to put them on his back, locates the ball, and attacks it at the highest point.
Rashee Rice was drafted with pick 55 of round 2 in the 2023 draft class. He scored a 9.53 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 145 out of 3062 WR from 1987 to 2023. https://t.co/lwD9tvVPvvpic.twitter.com/YjucxErSE1
I can see Veach tagging Sneed and letting CJ95 hit the market with intention to try to bring him back at market price if it makes sense to them. [Reply]

Frank was an edge rusher, and well thought of, at the time and only 26. Jones is 30, and while good,is at his peak when looking at most DT producition over age 31. Can Jones continue to be good, sure, but I don't see the Chiefs taking the risk. We may not even tag him, but use that on Sneed, as his asking price may only fetch a 2nd round, and we would get a 3rd round comp if he signs elsewhere. We can hope there is a dumb franchise out there who will give us a 1st, but probably not. The best case would be for Chris to want to remain a Chief and get a fair contract for both parties. It will be an interesting off season for sure. [Reply]

If he hits FA and teams don't have to both give up a pick and also pay him, I would be very surprised to see KC win the bidding war.
Just think KC is tight enough against the cap that Veach won't commit that much salary cap space for as many years as some other team with a better cap situation. [Reply]

He's a stud pass rushing DT with a few good years left. Those guys are rare. DE's on the other hand are all over the place. We will get a decent haul Maybe a 2nd and 3rd. [Reply]

I'd love for the Saints to want to blow it up and trade us Olave though.
I'm not in favor of giving up what it would take to get into the top ten or whatever for an almost sure thing WR.
As was just pointed out, there are values like the DK Metcalfs, etc to be had.
But it's not just Veach. Plenty of GMs end up with the equivalent of Hardman or Skyy with second round WRs. Just because there are values there are plenty of JAGs, MEHs, and busts for all teams.
It's easy to only get focused on other teams successes. [Reply]

So where do we see rashee project? Do we think he can be an outside option or is he best suited for the slot. I think it might be the latter which for now you can primary option as a “juju option.” [Reply]

I think we will see him move outside more. [Reply]
