Had shrimp Ceviche appetizer with fantastic thin and crispy tortilla chips then followed it up with a Lunchbox Burger at Fate's. Burger has a smear of peanut butter, cheddar cheese, two slices of bacon and fig jam on a toasted Brioche bun. Incredible flavor.
Had one beer, Pair of 7's Heffenweise and then a couple of Zinfandels.
Had to go down to the next block for a Culver's banana milkshake for dessert.

Obtaining that pink interior on such a thick piece of beef is incredible, while still getting a good char... every bit of that dish looks incredible [Reply]

Aldi shaved steak. Fresh meat section and it’s in between those two options. Good not great just season and fry up

For a great true steak sandwich, buy a thin rib eye, trim off excess fat, grill to medium, slices into half.
Take a Ciabatta roll, light butter or olive oil, grill lightly, add some mayo horseradish, swiss, provolone or cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and enjoy. [Reply]
