Had shrimp Ceviche appetizer with fantastic thin and crispy tortilla chips then followed it up with a Lunchbox Burger at Fate's. Burger has a smear of peanut butter, cheddar cheese, two slices of bacon and fig jam on a toasted Brioche bun. Incredible flavor.

Had one beer, Pair of 7's Heffenweise and then a couple of Zinfandels.

Had to go down to the next block for a Culver's banana milkshake for dessert.

My belly is very happy.

I have to settle for leftovers, I’m going to eat last nights cheese dip for dinner.

Obtaining that pink interior on such a thick piece of beef is incredible, while still getting a good char... every bit of that dish looks incredible

Aldi shaved steak. Fresh meat section and it’s in between those two options. Good not great just season and fry up

For a great true steak sandwich, buy a thin rib eye, trim off excess fat, grill to medium, slices into half.

Take a Ciabatta roll, light butter or olive oil, grill lightly, add some mayo horseradish, swiss, provolone or cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and enjoy.

As I've found with venison roasts, you can sous vide these cuts for ~12 hours and tenderize the them to a much much better degree.
