I want to thank the nameless minions who were working on the Steelers (film study, pre-gaming and getting things ready) pre-gameplan last week so Coach Reid was ready to go to work on the Steelers about 30 minutes after the game Saturday. [Reply]
Easily could've come out flat, uninspired, and dropped this game. On the road 4 days after playing the Texans, it's Christmas day, guys are tired, and Andy fields a team that rolled into pittsburgh against a 10 win team and stove their mother fucking head in. Just a fantastic job of getting these guys ready to go in such a short time.
Spags plan without Jones led to a 5 sack performance by the d line and 10 points allowed, which would have been 7 if an addle brained Justin Reid simply does nothing on the fg attempt. Instead, jumps offside and the missed fg is wiped.

Just a master stroke for this coaching staff.
Hats off.
Also achieving the biggest point differential of the season on the road, against a playoff team that was recently in the running for the 1 seed after the toughest stretch of games this season (IMO. Advanced metrics may show something else, but this was tough).
I’m not sure I’ve seen a team respond to a stretch like this in the regular season. Just fucking incredible. [Reply]
Love this photo so much.
I was unsure who the elf? was? so I looked him up.
Chris Shropshire-Assistant Equipment Manager.
Looks like the team loves him. [Reply]

Loved it when they started changing the assistant equipment manager's name. It was Ted Lasso stuff in real life. [Reply]
