I cant understand the argument of signing a player familar with the playbook (MVS) against a better player not familar with it. Surely any incoming player now would have enough time to adjust before the playoffs?

I think we should consider doing both.

The chiefs have the rare luxury of starting off 5-0 and not being in a panic to incorporate someone new immediately. Although it may take time to grasp the offense, they have plenty of time to get in time for the playoffs. Rashee was a rookie with no experience and he got it by midseason. Mahomes had different WRs every damn week so he can adjust on the fly.

Andy specifically said he’d like some WCO experience so that is one limiting factor. But WCO is everywhere so we’d have plenty of options

Yeesh, where did they get sanders from? He’s washed and we have too many RBs if anything

That was Pittsburgh. They wouldn’t trade him to us supposedly even though we were looking in on him. So they traded him to Carolina.

Dont care if DHop is old. He is a freaking dawg and he knows how to run routes and get open. Thats all Mahomes needs. Zero part of me wants to see Mahomes out there in the AFCCG again on a severely sprained ankle willing us to the SB with MVS, Skyy Moore and a practice squad wide receiver. We are another injury or two at that position for that to become a reality. Load up as much as possible at the position. Dont get conservative when we are going for history.

Playing on a dog shit team tends to wear players down. Look no further than Kareem Hunt. Throw DHop in there w Pattie Mahomes and Travis Kelce w/ Andy Reid dialing up plays and going after a ring and Id suspect you see a jolt of energy from DHop.
